Sailor Anniversary
About This Model
Sailor has been a major Japanese fountain pen manufacturer since the late 1920s, although their introduction to Europe and the US was not until the 1960s. After WWII. Sailor introduced injection molding for pens in Japan, which enabled major expansion with lower cost. The 1911 series, the pens for which Sailor is most known today, appeared in 1981, their first foray into top quality manufacturing. 1911 pens are excellent today, with a very wide range of nibs.
