Ink Testing Pens

About This Pen

With thanks to a customer looking for a pen for testing inks, I restored a bunch of Sheaffer and Esterbrook desk pens for use as ink testers. These pens were all either missing filling components or had very rough parts; these were removed and the pens were completely cleaned and polished. They all have very nice nibs, described for each and seen in the writing sample. In their current condition, they will be easy to clean out and use for testing multiple inks. Just unscrew the gripping section and run through distilled water!
